Healthcare | Remote Visual Acuity Test
As the Design Lead for our client, Visibly, our primary responsibility was to improve the user experience flow for patient onboarding. Visibly is the world's first online visual acuity test, developed in response to the impact of COVID-19. Patients are required to use their phone to take the test, and our task was to review user testing and identify any pain points or errors experienced during the process.
We meticulously documented all the pain points and errors from the user testing videos, creating reports that guided our design decisions. Our goal was to create a new onboarding process that would improve the user experience and ensure that patients could take the test with ease and accuracy. It was also important to adhere to medical standards and regulations, which we worked closely with the Visibly team to achieve.
The design process was enjoyable, as we translated the research into the designs and collaborated with the Visibly team to create a visually appealing and intuitive interface that met all the medical requirements. In the end, we were able to create a new feature that not only improved the user experience but also helped patients with their visual acuity testing needs."
